Jump Start’s Early Builders Program is a hands-on, STE(A)M in construction program designed to introduce young learners to the exciting world of construction through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math concepts, learning how to lead, be creative, and problem-solve through real-world connections.

This program offers 6 interactive sessions, in which children explore math and measurements, tool safety, while strengthening their confidence, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Program Details

✅ Duration: 6 Weeks
✅ Session Length: 90–120 minutes
✅ Age Range: Ideal for ages 7 to 10 & 11-14 years old
✅ Where: Sponsored Site Locations – local community centers, after-school programs, private and public schools, preschools, summer camps and local churches.
✅ Group Size: Up to 20 students per session

1. Blueprints & Design – Learn what blueprints are and build from real examples
2. Tools & Safety – Explore construction tools and safety gear
3. Measure Twice, Build Once – Practice basic math skills and spatial awareness
4. Structures & Stability – Experiment with building strong and balanced designs
5. Team Builders Challenge – Collaborate to complete design missions
6. Build Your World Showcase – Create your own structure, then present your design!
